I come to your home for an initial, in-person interview
and review The Fork Knife & Spoon Food Questionnaire
with you. We’ll discuss the types of foods you love, as well as the ones you dislike. We’ll also discuss a menu that fits your dietary needs and where you prefer your groceries to be purchased.
I will then assess your kitchen so I’m prepared to bring the right equipment to your house – including food storage containers. Most clients do not have the exact Pyrex dishes that I need for storage and reheating, so I will most likely have to add this to my list of groceries the first time I shop for you. This is a one-time purchase, but you will own the dishes even if you decide to discontinue our relationship.
After our meeting, I will contact you within 24 hours with a menu proposal that has been customized just for you.
After you approve the menu, we will then choose a cooking day. On that day, I will come to your home and cook in your kitchen using mostly my own equipment.
On your cooking day, I will arrive at your home no later than 10:30 a.m. after I have shopped for the freshest groceries available. I will finish cooking and cleaning up between 4:30 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.
Before I go home I will leave you with a well-organized list of reheating instructions as well as where to find the prepared meals in your refrigerator.
I will then contact you again (no face-to-face meeting required) 3 or 4 days after I’ve cooked for you to check in and present you with a new menu for the following week. I sincerely mean it when I say I welcome your feedback and comments. I want this experience to be customized perfectly to your tastes.
